Date: 3rd January 2012 Pax Adult: 2 Reporting Time to Base: 2.15pm Booking Reference Number: 253638 We are located next to the Mobil Petrol Station on the main road in Franz Josef. We will equip you with a raincoat and overtrousers, boots, crampons, woollen socks, gloves and a hat. You will need to bring 3-4 warm layers for your upper body (ideally woollen or polypro, not cotton) and a pair of lightweight trousers. NO JEANS (they get cold when wet) - we can provide overtrousers if this is all they have. You will also need to bring a light snack and a bottle of water or similar. Our half day hike includes entry into the fabulous Glacier Hot Pools! If you are arriving in Franz Josef the day prior please ask them to visit our office to receive a full trip briefing. You can watch our briefing movie. This will give you an insight into the most incredible glacier experience which you will be participating in and will ensure that you are fully prepared for your hike |
