We will equip you with a raincoat and overtrousers, boots, crampons, woollen socks, gloves and a hat. you need to bring 3-4 warm layers for your upper body and a pair of lightweight trousers. Ideally woollen or polypro, not cotton. NO JEANS, they get cold when wet. We can provide overtrousers if jeans is all they have. You will also need to bring lunch and a drink, along with a small backpack with two shoulder straps. If you are arriving in Franz Josef the day prior please visit our office to receive a full trip briefing. You can watch our briefing movie. This will give you an insight into the most incredible glacier experience. And you will be participating in and will ensure that you are fully prepared for their hike. |
